So I got a twit today from @bomega (Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten) that there was a Twones launch party in Amsterdam including free beer! I really liked this invitation (including this blog post ) and I was in the area so I decided to drive direction the Westergas area. I couldn’t find the cafe that easy so the iPhone helped me finding my way. (always fun to see the blue dot moving around when driving)
When I arrived at the cafe there was a croud outside talking and drinking beers, good atmospehere! I walked into the bar and asked if this was the Twones party, the bartender corfimed, so I said, well I would like a beer and so I got one \0/
I didn’t know anyone there, but I recognized Boris who was standing next to a guy with a Twones shirt. At first I walked to the Twones guy but ended up it chatting with Boris. We talked about Twittercounter and I asked and him show he is monetizing all these great startups. He told me some very interesting info.
Mathijs of Mobypicture was there also, Boris and Mathijs talked Internet Entrepeneur style.
I showed my iPhone Harmonia app. They loved it!, Mathijs took a picture of me, and he transmitted it with his “yet to be aproved by Apple” native iPhone App.
I left early so I didn’t talk to any of the Twones people, maybe next time!
Hey, watch my 15seconds video at viddler.com http://15s.viddler.com/wiibart/2d052d86
I think the concept really works, i mean, people will publish videos easier with limited short videos. But have to say, 12seconds.tv was first with this…But also proofs that Viddler can be really great in pragmatic development.
This video was taken on my trip to Indonesia in 1994. We were in Pangandaran where we met this guy who made us a chicken and rise meal, and he brought us some rice wine. After some wine we had some fun and he started to eat the wine bottle!
