Today Turkish Airways flight 1951 crashed in Amsterdam, this is really sad news, 9 people died in this crash, but it also has to be reported.
I noticed with this reporting that there is a discussion going on who was the first that reported about it, was Twitter first?
Well, I looked up the exact date/time of the tweets and found out that two Dutch media sites, http://www.geenstijl.nl and http://www.bnr.nl are wrong in their findings.
BNR radio tweets about their first tweet by their @Laradio presenter
http://www.geenstijl.nl said that twitter did not have the first tweet and used the BNR tweet as reference.
Then there’s the @nipp tweet
@nipp gained a lot of attention by the media and gained hundreds of new twitter followers.
But the real first tweet was from lrs
but this tweet was in dutch, and he didn’t use the word Schiphol

I made a video remix of Andrew Smiths Super Power movie (http://bit.ly/fYxMZ). This was something I wanted to do for a long time, but never took the time to do it. So to clear this from my todo list, I grabbed my laptop and played with IShowU and iMovie to make this video. I think it could be done much better, but I am still limited in my time, and have a hard time doing this kind of editing in iMovie.

I doubted to blog about my father’s death but now I think it’s ok. I made a photo video using photo’s that I took with my iPhone since July 2008. My father was a superdad, I am glad I visited him very often last year in Friesland. I really would like to shout out a big THANKS FOR ALL to him, I hope it will reach him, whereever he is.
My brother David and I had a chat in the hospital about the song of Coldplay. The lyrics were so true.
3 weeks ago David told me the title of that song is 42. When we were in the hospital we were both 42 years old. (11 months difference)
